Write for us
Dynamic Perspective welcomes considered pitches about the design, materials, use, care, reuse and making of familiar objects. A strong idea gives readers a fresh way to understand something they can encounter in ordinary life.
What we are looking for
Propose a focused subject with a clear reader benefit: an explanation of how a design choice works, a fair comparison of materials or forms, a piece of object history, or a thoughtful look at reuse and ordinary care. We favour useful evergreen topics that do not rely on expensive equipment, specialist access or risky instructions.
What makes a pitch useful
Tell us the central question, the main point you would make and why the subject suits Dynamic Perspective. Include a short outline and note any sources, images or specialist knowledge the piece would need. Keep the idea distinct from articles already planned, and disclose relevant commercial interests.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before sending a full draft. Do not send confidential material or claim tests and firsthand experience you have not carried out.
Good design earns its place
The most useful object is not always the newest one. We look at how things work, what they are made of and how a little attention can extend their usefulness.
