Dynamic Perspective

Editorial policy

Dynamic Perspective aims to make everyday object design easier to understand. Our articles should be clear about what is known, what is interpretation and where a reader may need to check the instructions that came with an object.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against suitable material available to us and avoid turning a plausible explanation into a certainty. Comparisons should make their criteria visible, while advice should stay within safe, ordinary use. We do not invent testing, measurements, quotations or personal experience.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to guarantee favourable coverage of a maker, product or collaborator. A partnership does not buy an editorial conclusion, and we do not imply endorsement simply because a name or link appears on the site.

Corrections

If an article contains a factual error or unclear wording, readers can contact us with the article title, the passage and any relevant explanation. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making the change clear when its significance calls for it.

Paid and partner material

Paid placements and material created with a partner are identified clearly where they appear. Partner material is kept distinct from independent editorial coverage so readers can tell what kind of content they are reading.

Our point of view

Good design earns its place

The most useful object is not always the newest one. We look at how things work, what they are made of and how a little attention can extend their usefulness.
